Setting up your email account with Outlook XP/2003

Using Outlook Express? Using Outlook 2007?

Before starting make sure you have setup your email accounts at www.jaymunda.com/cpanel.

You are now ready to begin setting up your email accounts.

  1. Open Outlook
  2. Go to “Tools” and click on “Email Accounts

  3. An “Email Accounts” window will pop up. Click on “Add a new e-mail account “, then click on “Next“.

  4. Select “POP3” and Click “Next

  5. Enter your name where it says “Display name:
    Enter your Email address in the input box. Example: ”john@yourdomain.com, webmaster@yourdomain.com, etc).
    In the Incoming mail (POP3…) field type mail.yourdomain.com
    In the Outgoing mail (SMTP)… field type mail.yourdomain.com
  6. Under Logon Information, enter your full email address (such as “john@yourdomain.com“) and your password and Click “Next“.
    (Passwords are case-sensitive.)

  7. Click More Settings, then choose “Outgoing Server” from the tabs at the top of this window.

    Check the box next to “My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication.

    Select “Log on using” and enter your full email address again as your User Name

    Enter your password again.

  8. Just click OK, then Next and you’re done!
